’Aakriti’ is a regional symposium that will be held on October 20-21, 2014 at Al Salama Institute of Architecture, Malappuram, Kerala.

 

The theme of the symposium is related to habitat design; the focus is to generate dialectic forum involving students, architects and public. The initial thrust being relevance of Identity, Order & Space in conception of built environments in Kerala.

 

'Aakriti' will host seminars and workshops by prominent architects, design competitions, photography competition and exhibitions for the public. 

 

AAKRITI 2014 is our pioneer attempt at a regional level to bring about collaborative learning and sharing of knowledge possible for a general cause. We believe that such ventures would properly nurture contextual relevance of regionalism in the minds of the young.
